“Nagoya Mosaic tile” history started when the first president “ Shoichi Kato” founded “Nagoya mosaic sales corporation” in Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture.
The founder worked for pottery & exterior tile industry in Seto city, Aichi prefecture and Otaru, Hokkaido prefecture in his teenage years.
The establishment of the company was based on limited fund & experience of business and they had hard time for purchasing products from their suppliers.
Despite such a tough situation, the company overcame some hard time such as World War Ⅱ owing to hard works of employees and warm support from clients, banks and suppliers.
The establishment of Tokyo branch in 1953, exporting Japanese tiles for overseas and starting importing tiles from Italy made the base of the company “Nagoya Mosaic Tile Co., LTD.”
Our company founded Nagoya head office and a showroom in Osaka city , Osaka prefecture in 1972.
We also opened a showroom in Fukuoka city in Fukuoka prefecture in 1973.
The passion of “ Showing as many latest tiles as possible to many users” is taken over by staffs in our 10 Showrooms in Japan.(Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Sendai, Shizuoka, Hiroshima, Okinawa)
